Fuel surcharge
Fuel surcharge is applicable for all shipments send by Airlog Express Service. Due to the price fluctuation on fuel, we have implemented a variable fuel surcharge equal to the surcharge we will get from our sub-contractors. Fuel surcharge will be charged to all our products.

Denmark April 2012: Road/courier: 18,00%
Sweden May 2012: Road/courier: 18,50%
Denmark May 2012: Road/courier: 18,50%
The fuel surcharge will be calculated on the basis of the average monthly development in the fuel costs, which is updated daily from the American Energy Department and “Rotterdam ARA index”. The price will be listed in USD cents per US gallon. You can find more information by entering http://www.eia.doe.gov/ . Fuel surcharge will be adjusted every month with an interval of +/- 0,5%.
Every time you make a booking in our system, you can see the exact percentage which is applicable at the time you enter your booking.
Weight / volumetric weight can be calculated by using the following formula:
Economy courier
Lenght x wide x height in centimetre / 5000 = volumetric weight in kilograms
International courier & Priority courier
Lenght x wide x height in centimetre / 5000 = volumetric weight in kilograms
Airlog Road Express (Parcels & Shipments)
Lenght x wide x height in centimetre / 4000 = volumetric weight in kilograms (Intrnational shipments)
Lenght x wide x height in centimetre / 3570 = volumetric weight in kilograms (Domestic shipments)
Sometimes large shipments can have a low physical weight and in these cases Customer has to pay for the actual volumetric weight, calculated on the basis of the above formula.
We recommend that Customers will always measure their shipments. The highest weight is applicable for the actual freight cost and will form the basis for the invoice we will send later on.
Customs clearance
Customs clearance must be made on all shipments with a commercial value to and from EU. Customer is required to make sure that an invoice will follow the shipment. If it is a non commercial shipment (non business purpose), such as a personal gift, a sample or a defective spare part, the shipment shall be followed by a non commercial invoice. (Proforma invoice).
To prevent delays in Customs clearance we ask you to pay special attention to:
Consignee information
